After dropping a tough opening-round match to 12th-ranked George Washington on Friday evening at the Mid-Atlantic Squash Conference (MASC) Championship, the 18th-ranked and sixth-seeded Navy squash team (8-12) regrouped and swept seventh-seeded Dickinson (5-12) on Saturday afternoon at Lerner Health & Wellness Center on the campus of George Washington.
The Highlights
• Navy is now 2-0 against Dickinson this season. The Mids posted a 9-0 win over the Red Devils on Nov. 20 for the program's first MASC victory.
• Navy won five of its nine matches against Dickinson by way of 3-0 victories, including an 11-5, 11-5, 11-3 win by #6 player
Ben Korn (So, Stevenson, Md.). Korn is the lone Navy player who is 2-0 in MASC Championship play after earning a 3-2 win over George Washington's David Varela on Friday evening.

Ryan York (So, Hunt Valley, Md.) fell behind two games to one in his match against Osuman Imoro at the #5 position. York, however, rallied to win the fourth game, 13-11, and went on to close out the match with an 11-2 win in the fifth.
• Team captain
Michael Kacergis (Sr, Malvern, Pa.) took down Tanay Murdia in four games at the #3 spot to earn his 59th collegiate victory and move into a tie (Brad Seidel // 2007-11) for 22nd on Navy's all-time wins list.

Owen Davis (Sr, Rydal, Pa.) swept Alexander Wattles, 11-2, 11-7, 11-3, capturing his 56th career victory. He is now just one win outside of Navy's all-time top-25 wins leader board behind Michael Beautyman Jr.'s 57 wins from 2005-09.
• Staying atop Navy's wins leader board is #1 player
Jack Lentz (Jr, Philadelphia, Pa.), who faced Abdelrahman Elsargany who did not play in the first meeting. With the match even at a win apiece, Lentz won the final two, 11-8, 11-7, to take the match and win his 11th match of the year.

Gus Prager (So, New York, N.Y.) and
Joe Kacergis (Fr, Malvern, Pa.) both swept their foes, while
Millen Randell (Fr, Chicago, Ill.) and
Tommy Rankin (Fr, Atlanta, Ga.) turned in four-game victories.
What's Ahead
• Navy will close out tournament action on Sunday when it meets fifth-seeded MIT (13-7).
• The Engineers dropped their tournament opener, 9-0, to Virginia and also lost a 7-2 decision to Franklin & Marshall.
• The Mids dropped their regular-season match to MIT, 6-3, in Annapolis.
