Navy squash (5-1) will be back in action this weekend when it plays host to its annual round robin Friday through Sunday at the Prager Family Squash Facility and
Bancroft Hall Courts. Boston U. (6-1), No. 32 Denison (0-2), No. 31 Fordham (0-3), Georgetown (4-1) and No. 30 Haverford (1-0) will make the trip to Annapolis to take part in the tournament which will also feature women's teams from Denison, Georgetown and Haverford. The Mids will kick off the weekend on Friday evening, squaring off against Fordham at 7:00 pm

Parking / Yard Access
• A reminder that vehicular access to the Naval Academy is limited to those drivers with a Department of Defense identification card.
• All other visitors are encouraged to park downtown and walk through the security gates at Gate 1.
• Visitors 18 years and older must present a government-issued identification card (driver's license / passport), while visitors under 18 must by accompanied by an adult.
Mask / COVID-19 Policy
• Per Department of Defense policy, masks are mandatory when indoors regardless of COVID-19 vaccination status.
• Once on the Academy grounds, those who have not been vaccinated must wear a mask at all times, while those who have been vaccinated have the option to wear a mask while outdoors.
The Opponents
• The Mids will play four of the five incoming teams (Georgetown) and have amassed a combined 106-9 record against those foes.
• Navy stands 63-0 against Fordham in a series that dates back to 1952. The Mids are 5-0 against Boston, 21-0 against Haverford and 17-9 against Denison.

Weekly Rewind
• No. 21 Navy opened the season with a strong performance in Chicago last the weekend where it captured 9-0 victories over Chicago, Indiana, Washington University in St. Louis, Ohio State and Northwestern.
• All 10 players on the ladder saw action and earned wins for the Mids, including

• Among the 45 individual matches played over the weekend, Navy surrendered just a single game - a 3-1 win by
Ben Korn over Ohio State's Blaze Fletcher-Broderson ({10},2,4,8).

Lucas Spiro, along with junior
Ben Balser earned their first-career victories and all three accomplished it in the Mids' 9-0 sweep against Chicago in the season opener. Wang, swept Ishaan Patel (2,0,5) at the No. 3 position, Spiro picked up a win over Craigin Maloney (3,3,5) at No. 5 and Balser, who joined the team this season, dealt Seha Choi a 3-0 loss (2,3,2).
• Sophomore
Henry Sparkman also earned his first-collegiate victory by scoring a 3-0 win over Jingyu Cai of Chicago (2,5,3). Sparkman made his collegiate debut a year ago, but he and his Navy teammates were limited to just a pair of appearances against Virginia.
• Navy was dealt its first blemish of the season on Wednesday following a 9-0 loss to No. 7 Virginia.
• The evening began with a short dedication ceremony recognizing Paul and Joanne Prager for their generous gift to help renovate the Navy squash facilities. The Prager Family Squash Facility features the newly-built one-of-a-kind, all-glass doubles court, while other enhancements include modernized locker rooms, a team study room and fan viewing areas. Additionally, technology throughout the facility has been updated to include permanent scoreboards and live streaming capabilities throughout the courts.
What's Ahead
• Navy will make the trip to Philadelphia a week from Saturday to battle top-ranked Penn (0-0) at 9:00 am, followed by a neutral site contest against No. 16 Amherst (0-0) beginning at 3:00 pm.
