ANNAPOLIS, Md. – The No. 20 Navy water polo team (16-13) fell to No. 18 Fordham (26-6) in the Mid-Atlantic Water Polo Conference Championship, 9-6, to finish the season as the League runner up. The Midshipmen finished the season 16-13 overall, including a 9-3 mark in conference play.

"I feel bad for our guys," head coach
Luis Nicolao said after the game. "To make it to the championship game and come up short, it is difficult. Credit to Fordham. They played a good game and were able to come away with the win."
