ANNAPOLIS, Md.—Navy senior slot back Chance Warren has been named the NAAA Athlete of the Week presented by Northrop Grumman for his performance in Navy's 38-14 win over Temple on Saturday.
 
Warren caught three passes for 43 yards and two touchdowns and returned three punts for 62 yards in the game.  Warren recorded back-to-back career long punt returns, the first a 22-yarder in the first quarter and the second, a 36-yarder that set up Navy's first touchdown.  The 36-yard return was the longest by a Navy player since Shawn Lynch had a 40-yard punt return against VMI on Sept. 22, 2012.
 
Warren caught a 15-yard touchdown strike from Xavier Arline in the second quarter that put Navy up 14-0 and a four-yard touchdown pass from Tai Lavatai in the fourth quarter that made it 38-14.
 
Navy is off this week before playing in America's Game, the Army-Navy game presented by USAA, on Saturday, Dec. 11 at 3 pm at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, N.J.
