ANNAPOLIS, Md.—Navy senior linebacker Diego Fagot has been named a Fourth-Team All-American by Phil Steele.  Fagot was also named First-Team All-American Athletic Conference by Steele, while junior kicker Bijan Nichols was named to the fourth team.`
 
Fagot led Navy in tackles for a third-consecutive year recording 94 stops, 11 tackles for a loss, six quarterback hurries, one sack, one interception, one fumble recovery and one forced fumble.
 
He is just the third Navy player to lead the team in tackles for three-straight years and was named First-Team All-American Athletic Conference by the head coaches in the conference for a second time.
 
His four-yard run off a surprise (to everybody) fake punt against Army prolonged a fourth quarter drive that took almost nine minutes off the clock and resulted in Navy's final three points of the game in the Mids 17-13 win.  It was Navy's second win over the Black Knights in the last three meetings and the 16^th over the last 20 years.
 
Fagot will play in the 97^th annual East-West Shrine Bowl on Feb. 3 at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas.
