Five Starting Notes
1 – Saturday's game will be Navy's first since Jan. 30 and American's first since Jan. 24.
2 – Saturday's game will be Navy's third road game of the league season and the first since playing at Lehigh on Jan. 9. The Mids have played seven home games during the league campaign.
3 – Sunday's game will be Navy's fifth appearance of the year on the CBS Sports Network and sixth of the year on national cable television. Additionally, the Mids will be appearing on the CBS Sorts Network for the 50th time since the network's inception as CSTV during the 2004-05 season.
4 – Navy won both games against American that were played in Annapolis on Jan. 16-17. Those were American's first games of the season.
5 – The Jan. 16 game between the teams featured a great scoring battle between Navy's
Cam Davis and American's Stacy Beckton Jr. Davis totaled 34 points on the afternoon and Beckton scored 30 points in the overtime contest.

Series History
• Navy and American first met 92 seasons ago. The Mids posted a 46-21 victory over the Eagles in that inaugural Feb. 2, 1929, contest that was played in Annapolis.
• This is the 60th season in which the teams will have faced each other in a game.
• American holds a 49-46 advantage in the all-time series with Navy. This includes a 28-12 lead in Patriot League regular season games.
• Navy leads the all-time series with American, 31-21, when the games are played in Annapolis, but the Mids trail the Eagles, 12-9, in league regular season games played on The Yard. American also has posted a 12-9 record against Navy in games played in Alumni Hall (all have been league regular season games).
• American has posted a 24-12 record against Navy when the teams meet on AU's home floor, which includes an 16-3 lead in league games played there. Additionally, the Eagles hold a 19-6 advantage over the Mids in games played in Bender Arena (16-3 in league regular season games).
• The teams also met as fellow members of the Colonial Athletic Association from the 1984-85 through 1990-91 seasons. Navy held an overall record of 8-7 against American during that time, which included an 8-6 lead in regular season games.
