2020-21 To Date
Navy has competed in just one meet thus far this season, and that was back on Oct. 31 when the Mids played host to Virginia. The Cavaliers won the men's meet by the count of 181-117 and the women's meet by the score of 188-104.
The Navy men's team totaled six event wins, with Waters touching the wall first in the 200 and 500 freestyle events. In the women's meet, Montau claimed two of the three victories for Navy on the day as she swept both diving boards.
Virginia is ranked 10th in the latest men's national poll and second in the most recent women's voting. Each Navy team received votes for the same top-25 poll.
Looking Ahead
Navy's abbreviated season will continue Saturday, Feb. 13, when the teams play host to George Washington. The annual Army-Navy meet will be contested Feb. 27 at West Point in what currently stands as Navy's last dual meet of the year. The NCAA Championship meets are slated to be held in their usual spots in the calendar (women: March 17-20, men: March 24-27) in Greensboro, N.C., then Bucknell will play host to the Patriot League Championship April 21-24.
