ANNAPOLIS, Md. ––
Caleb Mauldin (Jr., Chesapeake, Va.) posted the third-fastest time in Navy history in the 100 backstroke event, Friday at the NCAA Swimming and Diving Championship held in Greensboro, N.C.
Mauldin attained a time of 46.71 to place 30th in the field. His effort ranked third in school history behind his top-two times of 46.16 and 46.66, both of which were set one month ago.
In the lone diving event of the day,
Jake Hedrick (Sr., Hummelstown, Pa.) finished in 39th place with a score of 298.55 on the three-meter board.
Navy will close the championship Saturday for four Mids in competition.
