Five Starting Notes
– Navy and Loyola are meeting in the Patriot League Tournament for the first time.  The Greyhounds were the only league foe prior to this year that the Mids had not faced in the postseason.
– Navy improved upon its preseason prediction by three placings this year.  This effort makes it six times in the last seven years in which the Mids have bettered their preseason prediction by at least three placings.
– Navy and Colgate are the only two Patriot League teams to not appear in a first-round tournament game over the last four years.
– Navy players have totaled 17 complete games lost due to injuries or COVID protocols over the previous seven games.
– Only four current Navy players have started a Patriot League Tournament game in their careers.  Those four players are John Carter Jr., Cam Davis, Luke Loehr and Greg Summers, all of whom started the team's 2020 quarterfinal round game at Boston U.
