Sidney Paris (So., Oakville, Ontario) garnered honors as the Patriot League Offensive Player of the Week, the league office announced Monday.

Paris earned weekly recognition from the Patriot League for the first time in his career after leading Navy to a 3-0 victory over Colgate on Saturday. The sophomore recorded three points on a goal and an assist, marking the second time in the last three games Paris has tallied a score while assisting on another.

Paris leads the Midshipmen offense through eight games in points (9) and assists (3) while being tied for the team lead in goals (3). Among the offensive leaders in the Patriot League, the forward ranks in the top-five in points, goals and assists.

Winners in six of its last seven games, Navy returns to action 7 p.m. Wednesday as it welcomes Lafayette to the Glenn Warner Soccer Facility for a key Patriot League contest.
