BETHLEHEM, Pa. –– The Navy basketball teams will combine to make at least five regular season appearances on the CBS Sports Network during the 2022-23 season. Those games are part of the 18-game slate announced today by the Patriot League and the network.
The Navy men's team will first appear on the CBS Sports Network Nov. 11 when it plays host to Princeton in the second game (8:30 p.m.) of the Veterans Classic doubleheader in Alumni Hall. The Mids and the Tigers will follow the evening's first game (6 p.m.) between Houston and Saint Joseph's, which also will be carried by the network.
Each of the two Army-Navy men's and women's doubleheaders will be aired by the CBS Sports Network. The dates for those games are Jan. 21 in West Point and Feb. 11 in Annapolis (11 a.m. women, 1:30 p.m. men for both doubleheaders). The latter pair of games in Alumni Hall are the Star Games, part of the Star Series presented by USAA, between the programs.
Additionally, the Feb. 18 Loyola at Navy and the Feb. 25 Colgate at Navy men's games could be chosen for airing by the network as part of the league's flex scheduling the last two weekends of the men's regular season. The decisions on which games will be televised will be made closer to the respective date.
The two semifinal round games of the Patriot League men's tournament and the men's and women's championship games also will air on the CBS Sports Network.
All remaining Navy home games and road Patriot League games will be streamed to ESPN+ subscribers.
