ANNAPOLIS, Md. -- The Navy swimming and diving teams will face Patriot League competition for the first time this season on Saturday when the Mids travel to Lewisburg, Pa., to face American, Lafayette and meet-host Bucknell on noon.
Navy Men (4-0)
The Mids improved their record to 4-0 this season with victories over George Washington (153.5-130.5) and UMBC (163-115) on Oct. 21 and 22, respectively.
Jackson Schultz (Sr., Millersville, Md.) paced Navy against the Colonials with individual event wins in the 100 breast, 200 breast and 200 individual medley). Â
Everet Andrew (So., Wilmette, Ill.) posted a pair of wins against George Washington –– the 500 and 1000 free –– and notched two more wins against the Retrievers –– 200 free and 200 individual medley.
Navy Women (3-1)
Navy recorded a pair of victories two weeks ago against George Washington (157-143) and UMBC (153.5-122.5) and enters this week with a 3-1 mark on the year.
Hannah Pratt (Jr., Fishers, Ind.) and
Lauren Walsh (Fr,., Shelton, Conn.) each won two individual events against the Colonials. Â Pratt touched the wall first in the 100 and 200 free events and Walsh won the 100 breast and 200 individual medley races. Â Walsh also won the 100 individual medley and 100 fly the following day against the Retrievers. Â Additionally against UMBC,
Mackenzie Kim (Fr., Diamond Bar, Calif.) and
Ali Polidori (Fr., Rancho Santa Fe, Calif.) tied for first place in the three-meter diving event and Kim won the one-meter board outright.
American Men (0-4)
American has lost each of its four dual meets this season against Loyola (157-143), Boston College (246-52), Georgetown (210-87) and Howard (138-102).
American Women (1-3)
The Eagles have dropped meets this season to Loyola (173-126), Boston College (206-94) and Georgetown (174.5-122.5) and posted a victory over Howard (150-93).
Bucknell Men (3-0)
The Bison enter the meet with an undefeated record through three meets this year. Â The Bison have registered wins over Boston U. (208-90), Loyola (154.5-145.5) and Binghamton (173-127).
Bucknell Women (3-0)
Bucknell's trio of victories this season have been against Boston U. (187-113), Loyola (174-126) and Binghamton (190-105).Â
Lafayette Men (1-1)
The Leopards have split their two dual meets this season, losing to Loyola (176-118) and defeating Colgate (182-105).
Lafayette Women (0-2)
Lafayette's losses this year have come to league-foes Loyola (162-138) and Colgate (181-118).
