Five Starting Notes
– This is the 21st season in which Navy and American are each members of the Patriot League.  This also is the 28th season in which both teams are members of the same conference.
– Wednesday's game will be the 99th in the Navy-American series.  That total ranks second for the most times Navy has played an opponent in program history, as well as the second-most times American has faced a foe.
– Eight of the last 10 games in the Navy-American series have been decided by 10 or fewer points, with the highest margin of victory for either team being 12 points. These 10 games have been decided by an average of 7.5 points per game.
– Navy has posted a 4-1 record in its last five games after playing Army.  The one loss in that span came in 2021 when the Mids faced the Black Knights on back-to-back days.  Army won the rematch, 87-78, in overtime.
– The Feb. 26 Navy at Colgate game has been selected to air on the CBS Sports Network.  It will be Navy's fifth appearance of the year on the network and seventh game to air on a national cable television channel.
