Navy to Play Host to ECAC Swimming and Diving Championship

ANNAPOLIS, Md. –– Navy's Lejeune Hall will play host to the ECAC Swimming and Diving Championship this weekend.  Competition runs Friday through Sunday in Annapolis.

Accessing the USNA
Fans without a Department of Defense-approved ID card will not be allowed to drive onto the USNA.  Those fans must either park outside of the USNA gates and walk through the gate one security center or park at Navy-Marine Corps Memorial Stadium and ride the free shuttle bus to and from the meet.  The shuttle bus will run from 9 a.m.-10 p.m. on Friday and Saturday and 8 a.m.-8 p.m. on Sunday.

No matter how someone accesses the USNA, those ages 18 and older must present a photo ID card to gain entry and those ages 17 and younger must be accompanied by an adult.

COVID Policy
Under current Department of Defense COVID-19 requirements, those who have been vaccinated must wear a mask while indoors at the USNA but have the option to remove it while outdoors, and those who have not been vaccinated must wear a mask at all times while on the USNA.  A mask must be worn at all times by everyone, no matter their vaccination status, while riding the shuttle bus and when inside Lejuene Hall.

Session Schedule
Trials heats will be contested Friday and Saturday starting at 10 a.m. and Sunday beginning at 9 a.m.  The sessions of finals will begin at 6 p.m. Friday and Saturday and at 4 p.m. Sunday.

Tickets
There is no admission charge to attend the championship.

Entered Teams
Full or partial teams from schools in the region such as Navy, Army, Bucknell, Loyola, UMBC, Marist, Yale and Columbia will compete during the championship.
