SCOUTING THE MIDSHIPMEN
WINNING WAYS: Following its doubleheader sweep last weekend, Navy improved to 4-0 on the spring dual season. The Mids have now started with a 4-0 record in two of the last three seasons, in addition to matching the second-best start to a season in program history. The four-match ubeaten streak trails just the 2012 Navy women's tennis team that opened the season with 11-straight victories and finished with a record of 20-3.

LEADING THE CHARGE: The duo of Katreina Corpuz (Sr., Ewa Beach, Hawai'i) and Emily Tannenbaum (Fr., Commack, N.Y.) each have a 1-0 record playing out of the No. 1 singles position, leading the way in the early going for Navy. Jillian Taggart (Jr., Fair Oaks, Calif.) has played two matches at the No. 1 singles spot, recording a 1-1 record.

Kacey Moore (Sr., Wellington, Fla.) has netted two wins at the No. 2 singles position, while Sylvia Eklund (Fr., Bellevue, Wash.) has two wins out of the No. 5 spot. Rounding out the top performers for the Mids through four matches is the pairing of Kate Lee (Fr., Concord, Calif.) and Parvathi Shanker (Fr., Napa, Calif.) who each have a 2-0 record at the No. 6 singles.

TOP-TANDEMS: In doubles play, the duo of Moore and Taggart have a perfect 2-0 record at the No. 1 position, while Casey Accola (Jr., Winter Garden, Fla.) and Corinne Farid (So., Colmbia, Mo.) have tallied two wins at the No. 2 position. Eklund and Lee have won each of their competition's as the No. 3 doubles pairing, along with Shanker and Stella Ribaudo (So., Chicago, Ill.) who have also recorded two wins in that same spot.

RECORD CHECK: Entering the weekend, Moore sits just one win shy of moving into a tie for the eighth-most singles wins in program history at 60. The senior would tie Kaylah Hodge (2016-20) and Josie Rodgers (2015-18) on the all-time singles wins list. Ansofi Wreder (2016-19) is up next on the list with 62 career singles victories.
