ATLANTA, Ga. –– Navy's
Caleb Mauldin (Sr., Chesapeake, Va.) placed 43rd in the 100 backstroke event that was contested Friday at the NCAA Championship in Atlanta, Ga. He posted a time of 46.80 in the trial heats of the event at Georgia Tech's McCauley Aquatic Center.
His time today ranks eighth in Navy history. Mauldin also holds the school and Patriot League record in the 100 back (45.82) as well as the second through sixth-fastest times recorded by a Mid in the event.
He will compete in the 100 freestyle and 200 butterfly events on Saturday.
