ANNAPOLIS, Md. –– The Navy men's tennis team will split its squad in half to play a pair of road matches on Saturday. The Mids (24-10, 5-0) will play a Patriot League match against Colgate (8-8, 2-3) in Hamilton, N.Y., and non-league foe Norfolk State (2-12) in Norfolk, Va. First serve for both matches is 10 a.m.

Navy (24-10, 5-0)
The Mids improved their Patriot League record to 5-0 this season after posting a trio of victories last weekend. Navy defeated Bucknell (6-1), Lafayette (4-0) and Holy Cross (7-0), with the victories over the Leopards and Crusaders taking place on the road.
Navy as a team has posted a 12-2 record in completed doubles matches against league foes and a 21-3 record in completed singles matches against league competition.
Colgate (8-8, 2-3)
Colgate will face Monmouth Friday before playing host to Navy on Saturday.
The Raiders have recorded Patriot League victories over Holy Cross (6-1) and Lafayette (4-1) and suffered losses to Lehigh (6-1), Bucknell (5-2) and Boston U. (4-1).
Navy leads the all-time series with Colgate by the count of 33-11-1. That overall record includes a 17-4 lead in Patriot League regular season matches. The teams have met twice in the previous four seasons, with the Mids winning in both 2018 (7-0) and 2021 (4-0). Last season's match took place in the semifinal round of the Patriot League Tournament.
Saturday's match is the first in the series to be played at Colgate since the 2014 season.
Norfolk State (2-12)
The Spartans are slated to play Hampton on Friday before their match against the Mids on Saturday.
Norfolk State has lost matches this season to, among other teams, Morgan State, Howard and Temple, while Navy has defeated the Bears and the Bison and lost to the Owls.
Navy has won two of the previous three matches in the series with Norfolk State. Saturday is the first match between the teams since the Spartans defeated the Mids, 5-2, in a 2018 match played at Norfolk State.
