ANNAPOLIS, Md.—Navy senior kicker Bijan Nichols has been invited to the 11th annual NFL Players Association Collegiate Bowl All-Star game, which will take place on Saturday, Jan. 28 at the Rose Bowl in Pasadena, Calif. Nichols is the fourth Navy player to be selected for the game joining Jamir Tillman (2016), Michael Pifer (2019) and Mychal Cooper (2021).
Nichols suffered a leg injury the week before the season opener and missed the first nine games of the 2022 season. He made his debut against Notre Dame and in three games was 3-3 on field goals and 5-6 on extra-points.
Despite missing those nine games, Nichols still finished with 36-career field goals (second most in school history), 110-career extra-points (third most in school history) and 218-career points (second most in school history by a kicker).
