The Navy and Boston U. men's basketball teams will close their 2023 regular season series against one another Wednesday night when the Terriers (9-10, 2-4) travel to Annapolis for a 7 p.m. game against the Mids (8-10, 1-5).
Five Starting Notes
1 – The road team in the Navy-Boston U. series has posted a 14-3 record in league regular season games.  The home team has won both league tournament games that have been played in the series.
2 – Navy's last three losses have been by a total of 16 losses.  Boston U.'s last three losses have been by a total of 17 points.

Attending the Game
• Fans without a Department of Defense ID card must park outside of the USNA and either walk through the gate one visitors center or ride the shuttle bus.  Shuttle bus service begins one hour prior to the start of the game.  It will depart from and return to the blue (west) parking lot at Navy-Marine Corps Memorial Stadium (550 Taylor Ave., Annapolis, MD, 21401).
Last Game - Loyola 69, Navy 67
•   Navy led for the majority of the first half and turned a 36-29 halftime lead into a 48-32 lead with just under 17 minutes left on the clock.
•   After going 1-8 from three-point range in the first half, Loyola's fifth triple of the second half tied the game at 52-52. The Mids answered by taking leads of 56-52, 58-54 and 65-59, with the latter coming at the 2:57 mark.
•   The Greyhounds made their seventh and eighth, respectively, three-point baskets of the second half sandwiched around Navy missing the front end of the bonus to tie game at 65 with 1:42 remaining.
•   After the teams traded field goals, a Navy turnover game Loyola the ball with 40 seconds left.
•   The Greyhounds missed a shot, but in the scramble for the loose ball it was knocked out of bounds by Navy with 9.5 seconds left.  Loyola inbounded and Jaylin Andrews drove down the right side of the lane to score with 2.7 seconds left and give the Greyhounds their only lead of the afternoon.
