ANNAPOLIS, Md. – The Navy sprint football team (3-1, 1-0) welcomes Chestnut Hill (1-3, 1-1) to Navy-Marine Corps Memorial Stadium for a Collegiate Sprint Football League South Division match up on Friday evening at 7:00 p.m. The game will be broadcast on
EPSN+ with Scott Wykoff of the Navy Radio Network on the call. Additionally,
live stats will be available.
The game will serve as Senior Day and the Midshipmen will recognize its 22 seniors –

Navy holds the all-time series lead against Chestnut Hill, 6-0 (1.000). The Mids and Griffins have met three times in Annapolis with Navy posting three victories – W, 43-0 in 2016; W, 31-0 in 2018; and W, 52-0 in 2021. In Conshohocken, Pa., the Midshipmen are still 3-0, but the games are closer with the Mids notching wins – W, 27-17; W, 28-12; and W, 27-7.

CONSHOHOCKEN, Pa. – Navy trailed 7-0 after one quarter, but the Midshipmen scored 27 unanswered points to notch a 20-point win over Chestnut Hill at A.A. Garthwaite Stadium in Conshohocken, Pa. Senior team captain
Alex Totta scored a pair of touchdowns in the game to lead the Mids.
As a team, Navy amassed 337 total yards, including 140 passing yards and 197 yards rushing. Totta registered 97 yards rushing on 26 carries with a pair of TDs.
Brandon Atwood finished the game with 87 yards rushing, while going 15-for-24 for 140 yards and a touchdown.
Jake Smith led the team with eight receptions (46 yards), while
Andrew Margiotta paced the team with 55 receiving yards on a pair of catches.
Chris Stumpf recorded just one catch, but made it count, pulling down a 12-yard touchdown reception.
Defensively,
Devyn Martin and
Trent Parker finished with four tackles apiece, including three tackles for loss each. Martin was credited with 1.5 sacks, while
Nadir Emlemdi recorded the game's only interception.
Mychal Golden was a perfect 5-for-5 on the night kicking the ball. The junior made a pair of field goals – 42 yards and 32 yards – to go along with three extra points.

ANNAPOLIS, Md. – The Navy sprint football team posted a 35-19 victory over Caldwell at Navy-Marine Corps Memorial Stadium. Quarterback
Brandon Atwood was responsible for three touchdowns, while running back
Victor Otero rushed for a pair of scores in the victory.
Offensively, the Midshipmen combined for 431 total yards of offense, rushing for 247 yards and passing for 184 yards. The Mids were intercepted once, while losing a fumble. Defensively, the Mids held the Cougars to 243 total yards, including 134 on the ground and 109 through the air. Navy caused a pair of fumbles, recovering one, while also intercepting a pair of passes. The Mids tallied 14 points off of turnovers, while allowing 10 points off of miscues.
Atwood finished 15-for-20 for 184 yards and a pair of touchdowns, while rushing for 65 yards and a TD. Otero led the rushing attack for the Mids with 105 yards on 19 carries and a pair of scores.
Andrew Margiotta led the team with 92 yards receiving on a team-high six catches.
Jobe Long finished with four receptions for 31 yards and a touchdown, while
Chris Stumpf added a pair of catches for 66 yards and a TD reception.
Jack Costigan led the team with eight tackles, while
Tyler Cox added seven stops. Costigan picked off a Caldwell pass, while Cox recovered a fumble that was forced by
Simon Burger.
Seamas Carrasco picked off a pass in the end zone, returning the interception 23 yards. Navy finished with two sacks with
David Niski and
Mick Tabor each registering a sack.
