The 25th-ranked Navy squash team (7-2) will play its final matches of the 2023 calendar year this weekend. The Mids, who last played on Nov. 19 against Bates (W / 7-2), kick things off on Friday at 6:30 pm with neutral site match (Squash on Fire in Washington, D.C.) against #28 Wesleyan (2-1). Navy closes out the weekend on Sunday when it travels to Charlottesville, Va. to take on #17 MIT (6-4) at 10:00 am in a Mid-Atlantic Squash Conference match.

• Ranked 28th by the College Squash Association, Wesleyan enters the weekend with a 2-1 record, earning wins over Brown (8-1 / top-ranked club team) and #32 Vassar (9-0), while dropping a 7-2 decision to #20 Middlebury
• The Cardinals' top-two players on the ladder - sophomore Nimai Kini and senior Toby Goldston - are both undefeated at 3-0
• Navy owns a 29-1 record against Wesleyan in a series that first began in 1950.

Their losses have come against #14 Western (5-4), #13 Rochester (6-3), #15 Colby (6-3) and #4 Trinity (9-0)
• The Engineers will play 2 matches prior to playing Navy - Friday at #8 Virginia (4:00 pm) and Saturday vs. #10 Dartmouth (10:00 am / Charlottesville, Va.)
• Freshman Mero Elmarassy has played the No. 1 spot in 8 of the 10 matches, posting a 4-4 record, while sophomore Hyun Su Price stands 5-3 at the No. 2 position
