1 – Coppin State returns to Alumni Hall for the first time in five seasons and third time overall.
2 – Coppin State defeated Navy last season, 75-68. The Mids return five players who played in that game and who totaled 19 points and the Eagles return three players who played in the game and tallied 20 points. Justin Winston is the top returning scorer from last year for Coppin State (12 points) and
Kam Summers is the leading returning scorer for Navy (10 points).
3 – Navy ranks 322nd nationally with an adjusted tempo of 65.5 possessions per game (KenPom.com) and Coppin State ranks 336th with an average of 64.9 possessions per game.

• Navy (1-4) closes a brief two-game homestand with a Sunday matinee (1:30 p.m.) against Coppin State (1-7).

Accessing the USNA
• Vehicle access to the USNA is limited to those with an approved ID card. All others must park outside of the USNA.
• Fans can park ($10 / vehicle) at Navy-Marine Corps Memorial Stadium (550 Taylor Ave., Annapolis, MD, 21401) and ride the free shuttle bus.
• The shuttle bus service begins at 10 a.m. due to the women's game and ends four hours after the men's game begins.
• Fans also can park downtown and walk through the gate one visitors center (52 King George St., Annapolis, MD, 21402).
• Regardless of how one accesses the USNA, those ages 18 and over must have a government issued photo identification card, such as a driver's license, and visitors ages 17 and under who do not have a valid photo ID must be accompanied by an adult.
Last Game
• Navy earned its first victory of the season as it defeated VMI, 67-47, Wednesday in Annapolis.
• Navy used a 15-2 run to take a 24-9 lead with just under seven minutes left in the first half.
• The Mids went on an 11-0 run early in the second half to build a 47-25 lead with 12 minutes still to play. The lead remained at least 20 points for the final seven minutes.
• Navy led VMI 12-0 in fastbreak points, 22-10 in points after turnovers and 16-5 in second-chance points.

About Coppin State
• Coppin State compiled an overall record of 9-23 last season and tied for sixth place in the eight-team Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference with a 4-10 record.
• The Eagles placed seventh in this year's MEAC Preseason Poll.
• Coppin State enters the game with a 1-7 record following the team's first win of the season Thursday at home against UMBC (89-70).
• The Eagles have suffered losses to, among others, Virgina Tech, Towson, Mount St. Mary's and Louisville.
