ANNAPOLIS, Md. – Winning nine of its last 10 matches, the Navy women's tennis team (9-3) is set to return to action on Saturday, March 4 with a 2 p.m. against Delaware (7-2) at the Tose Family Tennis Center.
Saturday's match will be the Midshipmen's last home contest for over a month, as the team will play seven matches away from Annapolis, including its first three Patriot League contests, before coming home on April 7 for a meeting with Georgetown.
Feeling Good at Home
Navy is 7-0 at home this season, including four straight 7-0 sweeps to conclude a six-match homestand earlier in the spring … Through seven home matches, the Mids have posted a 38-4 record in singles play and 19-2 mark on the doubles courts … Navy has posted 11-straight dual wins at home dating back to last season, and the Mids have only lost three home matches over the past two-plus seasons … The Mids are 189-42 all-time at home, posting winning records at home every season during the program's history … The Feb. 12 victory over George Mason guaranteed Navy a winning home record for the 15th consecutive season under head coach

Lee Continues Streak
Winning her last seven singles matches, Lee now has the longest active winning streak on Navy … The sophomore began her streak with her final match of the fall tournament season, and has a 6-0 singles record in dual action … Smith has the second-longest singles winning streak on the team with four consecutive singles wins.
Scouting Delaware
The Blue Hens are 7-2 on the spring, bringing a six-match unbeaten streak into Saturday … Delaware's most recent contest was a 5-2 victory against Rutgers on Feb. 24, while the Blue Hens will play Fairleigh Dickinson in a neutral-site match on Friday in Elkton, Maryland before arriving in Annapolis … Isabella Montana and reigning CAA Co-Freshman of the Year Alina Vasilenko were named CAA Women's Tennis Doubles Team of the Week on Tuesday … Delaware's top doubles pair of Adel-Byanu Abidullina and Eliza Askarova moved up to third in the ITA National Doubles Rankings last week.

Navy leads the all-time series with Delaware at 8-3, winning three of the last five meetings … After the Mids scored a 7-0 win over the Blue Hens in Annapolis on Feb. 23, 2020 that included then-freshman
Casey Accola tallying victories in doubles and singles play, Delaware turned the tables in the next matchup, registering a 7-0 victory in Newark, Delaware on Feb. 13 of last season despite Tannenbaum pairing with Katereina Corpuz for a 6-2 doubles win in the No. 2 spot … Askarova has been in the No. 1 doubles pairing and the No. 1 singles position for Delaware in the last two meetings between the programs.
