EASTON, Pa. – The Navy baseball team has announced changes to its weekend schedule after Saturday's doubleheader at Lafayette was suspended midway through the first game due to rain and lightning in the Easton area.
Play is scheduled to resume at 11 a.m. Sunday at Hilton Rahn '51 Field at Kamine Stadium in Easton, Pa., as the Midshipmen and Leopards will complete the series-opening seven-inning game before facing each other in two nine-inning contests to close out the weekend series.
Saturday's first game was suspended right before the bottom of the fourth inning with Lafayette in front, 1-0, following a Justin Grech solo home run in the third inning.
