ANNAPOLIS, Md. – This past week, the Navy offshore sailing team had two crews compete in the 640-mile Marion to Bermuda Race, while two other Midshipmen crews sailed in the Block Island Race Week in Rhode Island.

In the race to Bermuda, senior Phil Pacheco skippered the Navy 44
Defiance to first place in class. His crew included senior XO
Dylan Medina, senior
Frank Carter, junior Ethan Sullivan and sophomores Kai Widick, Matt Irving, Eva White and Kaili Williams.

Aidan Johnson led the Navy 44
Integrity to third place in the same class, as his crew included senior XO

Zephyr to second overall in their class for the series, as he skippered the group of senior XO

Ian Mason, junior Harry Morrow and sophomores Sawyer Barnard, Sam Mentel and Kylie Brunning, alongside ensign Joey Zaladonis.
