Recap of Delaware Match
Navy's young core lit up the scoreboard with a program-record 117 points to defeat Delaware, 117-0, last Saturday.

Avion Ganse made the first big play of the day with a 30-meter carry. He quickly offloaded the ball to Andrew Baublitz who ran the remaining distance for Navy's first try in the fourth minute. After a score from Marek Enters in the eighth minute, Ganse scored back-to-back tries in the 12th and 18th minutes to put the Mids ahead, 24-0.

Navy scored its first try on a maul in the 23rd minute to award Ian Bullock his first score as a Mid.

Baublitz then received a pass out of a won scrum at midfield and ran over 50 meters into the try zone in the 27th minute to give Navy a 36-0 lead.

Kade Williams showed off his kicking ability with a dropkick that led to Baublitz's third try in the 36th minute. Ganse also earned a hat trick with his third try in the 39th minute to give the Mids a 48-point advantage at halftime.

A short kick quickly put Navy back into scoring position less than a minute into the second half. A big carry from Enters led to a close score from Trevor Gayron in the 41st minute. Another big run from Enters earned him his second score of the match in the 44th minute to give Navy a 60-0 lead.

Baublitz continued his career day by scoring his fourth try of the contest in the 48th minute. Navy's maul attack helped carry Aidan Bryan over 35 meters in the 51st minute for a try to extend the lead to 72-0.

Big runs from Ryan Flaherty and Jake Cornelius in the 54th and 59th minutes added another two tries to the scoreboard. The Mids set their new program record for most points in a match in the 64th minute after Trevor Swier scored on a maul to make the score 91-0.

Xavier Sturdifen showed off his speed on a carry of over 30 meters to score a try in the 68th minute. Swier added another two tries in the 72nd and 75th minutes to help the Mids surpass 100 points in the match.

Edmund Soeder concluded the game with a try in the 81st minute.
