ANNAPOLIS, Md. – Inside Lacrosse published its early season Impact Freshman rankings list and Navy's
Mikayla Williams was named to the 25-player list, coming in at No. 13.
Nine games in to her first collegiate season, Williams is fifth on the Midshipmen roster with 19 points on 12 goals and seven assists. Her 12 goals are fifth best on the team, while her seven helpers rank third on the squad.
Additionally, she has 16 ground balls (2nd), 16 draws (3rd), and six caused turnovers (4th), which all rank in the top-5 among Navy players in 2024.
The rookie leads all Navy freshmen in points, goals, assists, ground balls and draw controls, while tying for second in caused turnovers.
Navy returns to action on Saturday, March 23, as the Midshipmen host Boston University at Navy-Marine Corps Memorial Stadium. Opening draw is slated for 12:00 p.m. The game, which is part of a doubleheader with the Navy men's lacrosse team, will be broadcast on ESPN+ and live stats will be available.
