Irving, Texas—The National Football Foundation & College Hall of Fame announced that six Navy football players have been named to the 2024 National Football Foundation Hampshire Honor Society, which is comprised of college football players that maintained a cumulative 3.20 grade point average or better throughout their college career and used up their final year of eligibility during the 2023 season.

The Navy players honored include linebacker Chaisen Buckner (3.74 GPA / Robotics and Control Engineering), safety/striker Eavan Gibbons (3.62 GPA / Ocean Engineering), wide receiver John Meagher (3.82 GPA / Operations Research), guard Josh Pena (3.34 GPA / Operations Research), wide receiver Jayden Umbarger (3.63 GPA / Political Science) and kickoff specialist Evan Warren (4.0 GPA / Political Science with Honors).
