What do you want to do after graduation and why? Commission USMC ground because of the similar values and morals as myself. 

Why did you choose Navy?   Navy was a great opportunity to get a great education, serve and play tier 1 FBS football

What would you tell somebody that is considering coming to Navy to play football?  That there aren't many institutions in the world that can offer you the ability to do what you love and receive some of the best education and lessons in leadership.

If you could play another position, what position would you play and why?  If I could play any other position it would be LB. I really enjoyed playing linebacker in high school

If you could choose any opponent for Navy to play that is currently not on the schedule, who would you choose and why?  I would love to be able to go home and play Texas in Darrell K Royal Memorial Stadium. It's where I grew up going to college football games and it would be really cool to be there from a players perspective and not as a  fan.

Favorite class at the Naval Academy and why?   As controversial as this may sound, I really enjoyed my Thermodynamics class. I had a great professor who really cared and poured in to his students. Shout out Professor Elger.

Hardest class at the Naval Academy and why?  And this is why it's controversial, Thermodynamics. It's a very challenging course all midshipmen take and is known for being difficult.

Favorite teacher at the Naval Academy and why?  One of my favorite teachers has been Dr. Houge. I have never had him as my own teacher, but he has helped me through so many different classes for the past 3 years. 

Favorite form of social media and why?   My favorite social media is Instagram. I don't post many things, but I enjoy seeing what others post. 

If you could have dinner with any 4 people that are currently at the Naval Academy who would you choose and why? I would choose to have dinner with the new Superintendent and new Commandant because I would love to hear about their journey so far in their career. When it comes to the other two spots I would have to say Capt. Mendenhall and Gunny Nickell because they are the best.

Favorite sport to follow at the Naval Academy outside of football and why?  My favorite sport to follow is  men's lacrosse. I really enjoy being able to go to the games and cheer on some of the boys.

If you didn't play football at Navy, what sport would you play and why?  I would probably try and play lacrosse 

What song is playing on your headphones in the locker room right before taking the field?  Kickstart My Heart by Motley Crew

What is your dream vacation?  My dream vacation would be a trip to the Swiss Alps.

What is the best thing about being in the American Athletic Conference?  Getting to play great competition on a weekly basis and travel all over the country. 

What do you think about Army being in the American Athletic Conference?  It's an interesting switch, but it makes sense. I am not necessarily concerned about who they play through the season so I don't have a strong opinion on it. As long as we beat them in early December I don't care.

Who will be the surprise player on offense in 2024?  I think Ben Purvis will have a standout year on the offensive line.
