ANNAPOLIS, Md. -- The Navy swimming and diving teams will close their respective dual meet slates Friday afternoon in Lejeune Hall.  The women's team (8-5) will play host to Richmond (0-3) and the men's team (10-4) will face Columbia (2-4).  The combined meet starts at 2 p.m.

Live results from the meet will be available at NavySports.com.

Navy will hold its annual Senior Day ceremony for members of the Class of 2025 from both teams starting at 1:40 p.m.

Navy Women's Team Review
Navy's lone meet thus far in the 2025 calendar year was a two-day extended dual meet at Princeton against the host Tigers and NCAA Division III-power Kenyon.  The Mids defeated Kenyon by the score of 178-175 and lost a 249-104 meet to Princeton.

Richmond Preview
The Spiders have suffered losses this season to Penn, East Carolina and Villanova.  Richmond lost to the Wildcats, 165-135, this past weekend.

The Spiders placed second at last year's Atlantic 10 Conference Championship.

Richmond leads the all-time series with Navy by the count of 8-5, but the Mids have won the last two meetings including a 152-113 victory two seasons ago in Virginia.

Navy Men's Team Review
The Mids split a pair of meets two weeks ago as they topped Kenyon, 285-66, and fell to Princeton, 246-107.

Columbia Preview
The Lions have tallied a 2-4 record in dual meets this season with all of those meets coming against Ivy League foes.  Columbia dropped a 178-121 decision at Cornell Saturday.

The Lions recorded a sixth-place finish at the 2024 Ivy League Championship

The Navy-Columbia series dates back to the 1914-15 season.  The teams spent generations as fellow members of the Eastern Intercollegiate Swimming League.  The Mids lead the series, 68-26, and have won the last four duals.  This includes a 176-118 victory a year ago in New York City.
