Men’s Swimming & Diving Home Saturday vs. Towson

ANNAPOLIS, Md. -- The Navy men's swimming and diving team will open its 2025 slate Saturday when the Mids (8-3) play host to Towson (2-1-1) at 11 a.m. in Lejeune Hall.

Live results from the meet can be found at NavySports.com.

Towson has compiled a 2-1-1 record this season.  The Tigers have defeated La Salle (177-13) and Seton Hall (157-142), lost to Delaware (229-71) and tied Old Dominion (143.5-143.5).

Towson's last dual meet was when it fell to the Blue Hens on Nov. 2.

The Tigers posted a 6-2 record in dual meets during the 2023-24 season, with one of those losses being a 179-116 defeat to Navy.  Towson went on to place third in the 2024 Coastal Athletic Association Championship.

Last year's victory gave the Mids a 9-0 advantage in the all-time series with the Tigers.  The Mids won 11 of the 16 events during last year's meet at Towson.  Returning event winners for Navy are Luca Oliva (500 free, 1000 free), Jake Douberly (200 fly), Everet Andrew (200 free), Ben Stankovich (100 free), Ben Irwin (100 back) and Juan Mora (200 breast).  The Mids also swept the two relay races.

Towson returns Luke Schwar, who won the 50 free, and Sean Colson, who placed first in the 200 back.

Navy registered a 150-139 victory over Towson two years ago when the teams last met in Annapolis.

The Mids will be competing for the first time since their meet at Army on Dec. 5.
