ANNAPOLIS, Md. – The No. 10 Navy rifle team (11-5) travels to Charleston, S.C. to take on The Citadel (1-10) at the Inouye Marksmanship Center on Saturday and Sunday, Feb. 15-16. Competition is slated for 8:00 a.m. each day and live results of the match will be available via NavySports.com.
National Standings
Navy enters the weekend 10th in the standings with an NCAA qualifying score of 4717.67. Heading into the weekend, Murray State holds the eighth and final spot that is needed to qualify for the NCAA Championship with a 4726 average score, setting the mark to beat in order to get into the coveted top 8. Nebraska sits in between Murray State and Navy in ninth with a NCAA average of 4720.33.
The Citadel's coed team is 23rd with an average 4554.33, while the Bulldog's women's team is 25th with a NCAA average of 4527.67.
Scouting the Midshipmen
Two weekends ago, Navy posted 5878-5839 victory against No. 14 Army in the annual Star Match, which is part of the overall Army-Navy Star Series, presented by USAA, at the Bancroft Hall Rifle Range in Annapolis. The win gave the Midshipmen their fourth straight win and the sixth in the last seven Star matches. In addition, the Midshipmen shot topped the 4700-point plateau in the NCAA scoring format, notching a team score of 4709.
Sophomore
Isabella Baldwin leads the team in all three scoring categories – smallbore, air rifle, and aggregate. She boasts a 586.6 average smallbore, while registering a 596.4 in air rifle for an 1183.0 average in aggregate.
Senior
Marleigh Duncan second to Baldwin in each discipline. She has an average score of 586.1 in smallbore, while notching a 592.0 in air rifle. Duncan's aggregate average is 1178.1.
Junior
Parker Haydin is third on the team in air rifle and combined, while coming in fourth in smallbore. Haydin averages 581.0 in smallbore and 591.2 in air rifle for an aggregate tally of 1172.2.
Senior team captain
Stephanie Milvain follows Haydin in both air rifle and aggregate, while finishing third behind Duncan in smallbore. Milvain has an average performance of 582.3 in smallbore with a 587.9 in air rifle. She has an aggregate score of 1170.2.
Sophomore
Ryan Wee and senior
Joshua Potts round out Navy's top five in each shooting category. Wee is fifth in smallbore (580.0) and aggregate (1165.5) with Potts posting a 587.4 for fifth in air rifle. Potts is behind Wee in smallbore (573.7) and aggregate (1161.1), while Wee has an air rifle tally of 585.9.

Elizabeth Johnson close out the scoring for the Midshipmen. C.Dely has averages of 573.6 (smallbore), 585.7 (air rifle), and 1158.3 (aggregate) in seven competitions. Shepard has competed in six matches with tallies of 563.3 (smallbore), 586.0 (air rifle), and 1149.3 (aggregate). Uhrich has notched averages of 568.0 in smallbore, 579.3 in air rifle, and 1146.6 in aggregate, while Johnson has median performances of 566.2 (smallbore), 580.0 (air rifle), and 1146.2 (aggregate). Glover has participated in two matches, posting averages of 566.5 (smallbore), 573.5 (air rifle), and 1142.0 combined, while J.Dely has competed in five matches with totals of 540.8 (smallbore), 558.4 (air rifle), and 1097.2 (aggregate).
Scouting the Opposition
The Citadel enters the weekend with a 1-10 overall record. Most recently, the Bulldogs took part in the 2025 Southern Conference Rifle Championships. The Citadel's mixed rifle team finished sixth with an aggregate score of 4494, while the Bulldogs' women's team was seventh with a combined tally of 4447.
The Bulldogs had a pair of shooters finish in the top 10 of the aggregate scoring at the SoCon Championships. Emrie Fast-Clarke of the women's squad finished with an 1155 to finish seventh overall, while Braden Michalak of the coed team was two points back (1153) to finish eighth overall.

Following the weekend in Charleston, S.C., Navy will return home to face John Jay in the NCAA Qualifier at the Bancroft Hall Rifle Range in the final tune up for the Midshipmen before the Great American Rifle Conference (GARC) Championship.
