Mike Anti said of the weekend. "We were very consistent shooting the same score both days which was just one point off our program record. We have been working all year to be more consistent so it is great to see that work payoff. With this score going into our season average it keeps us in the hunt to qualify for the NCAA Championships.
"Our standout performer this weekend was
Isabella Baldwin. She led the team in scoring both days with outstanding scores in both events.
Stephanie Milvain shot her personal career best on day one and a solid day two performance.
Marleigh Duncan,
Parker Haydin and
Ryan Wee shot near to their season high scores, all of which contributed to a final season high performance. Next week we have the final NCAA Qualifier against John Jay. We have a few days to prepare physically and mentally for the final competition of the regular season."
Each day, the rifle team posted a smallbore tally of 2349, which was the third-best performance in school history. In air rifle, the squad notched a combined score of 2377, which was one point out of the top five in the Navy annals. On Sunday, the Midshipmen tallied 14 perfect 100 scores in air rifle.
