BETHLEHEM, Pa. -- The Navy swimming and diving teams combined to place 30 athletes on the All-Patriot League teams that were announced today by the league office. The 30 honorees are the most of any school in the Patriot League this season.
The all-league teams are determined by individual event results and point totals during the league championship. Both the first and second teams consist of 18 members, with more added if there are any ties. All individual event champions automatically earn first-team recognition, with the remaining first-team positions filled based upon point total. All individual event second-place swimmers and divers not already appearing on the first team are then placed onto the second team. The second team also is rounded out by the next highest point tallies.
The honorees for the Navy women's team is highlighted by league diver of the year
Mackenzie Kim. The junior won both boards at last week's meet and has now earned all-league recognition in back-to-back seasons (second team in 2024).
Additional first-team accolades were earned by

Sarah Eldridge,
Caroline Irwin,
Tiffany Shields and
Lauren Walsh.
Eldridge and Walsh were named first-team all-league for the third year in a row, Irwin is a three-time first-team recipient and garnered all-league honors in each of her four seasons and Shields earned a first-team nod in 2023.
On the men's side,
Ben Irwin led all athletes at the meet with 92 individual event points. He won both the 200 back and 200 fly events and placed second in the 100 back final, setting NCAA B cut times in all three events and breaking the school, league, league meet and pool records in the 200 back with a time of 1:40.04. The 2024 league rookie of the year was named first-team all-league for the second year in a row.

Everet Andrew won the 200 free at this year's meet to give him three titles and one second-place finish (2024) in the event in his career. The 2022 league rookie of the year was named first-team all-league in each of his four seasons. Phillips and Stankovich each previously earned second-team all-league laurels in 2024.
