Setting the Stage
• Inside the Game: Navy (4-3, 1-1 Patriot League) will play its only regular-season midweek game of the season when it plays host to Le Moyne (4-2, 1-0 NEC) on Tuesday evening. Faceoff is set for 6:00 pm at Navy-Marine Corps Memorial Stadium. Navy is led by Joe Amplo, who has put together a 39-29 record in his 6 seasons at the helm of the Mids' program, while Le Moyne's Dan Sheehan has posted a 373-69 record in 28 seasons as the Dolphins' head coach. Tuesday's contest marks the inaugural meeting between the two programs.

Scouting Le Moyne
• Led by 28th-year head coach Dan Sheehan, Le Moyne is in its second year playing at the DI level. A power among DII, the Dolphins won 6 NCAA National Championships (2004-06-07-13-16-21), the 2nd most at the DII level.
• Sheehan is the 4th-winningest active coach by percentage (373-69, 84.4) across all divisions. He has the 11th-most wins all-time and the 6th-most among active coaches.
• Sheehan directed Le Moyne to 24-consecutive winning seasons beginning in 2000 before transitioning to DI last spring where the Dolphins finished 3-8.
• Le Moyne heads into Tuesday night's contest with a 4-2 record, earning wins over Canisius (11-10), St. Bonaventure (10-9), Mercer (10-7) and VMI (10-9). The Dolphins' losses were to Lafayette (15-4) and Hobart (13-8).
• Four different players have reached double digits in the points column for Le Moyne, including Ryan Eisenmann (Sr / A), who has 12 points on a team-high tying 9 goals and 3 assists. Thomas Berry (R-So / A) also has 12 points on 7 goals and a team-best 5 assists. Meanwhile Zachary Delaney (Gr / A) falls in a point behind with 11 points on a team-high tying 9 goals and 2 assists.
• Le Moyne has used 2 goalkeepers this season - Carter Ruhm (R-So), who has seen action in 5 of the 6 contests and owns an 11.23 goals-against average and a 43.2 save percentage, and Lucas Winger, who has an 8.93 GAA and a 56.4 save percentage. Winger took over in the 2nd quarter of the Hobart game and started Saturday's contest against VMI.

First Time Foes
• One of the oldest programs in the sport's history, Navy is in its 118th season. During that timeframe, the Mids have played 52 of the other 76 Div.I programs.
• Navy checked off Iona from its list of teams it had never played when the Mids defeated the first-year program 22-9 on Feb. 8. It will check off another team from the list on Tuesday when it faces Le Moyne.
• The other 23 teams Navy has not played are UAlbany, Bellarmine, Binghamton, Bryant, Cleveland State, Denver, Hampton, LIU, Marquette, UMass-Lowell, Mercyhurst, Merrimack, Michigan, Monmouth, NJIT, Notre Dame, Quinnipiac, Robert Morris, Siena, St. Bonaventure, St. John's, Utah and Wagner.
Navy to Host 2025 NCAA Quarterfinal Site
• Hofstra (Saturday, May 17) and Navy (Sunday, May 18 / 12:00 pm & 2:30 pm) will serve as the host sites for this year's NCAA Quarterfinal games. Navy has previously hosted the quarterfinal round 7 times - 2007, '08, '09, '12, '15, '18, '23. Navy will also host quarterfinal games in 2027.
• Gillette Stadium in Foxborough, Mass., will be the site of the 2025 NCAA Men's Lacrosse Championships (Div. I, II, III) and Div. I Women's Lacrosse Championship. These championships will represent the 2nd time the home of the NFL's New England Patriots has hosted the combined men's and women's event and the 6th time (2008-09-12-17-18) it has hosted the men's championship. In 2017, the venue became the 1st to host both the men's and women's championships. Harvard will serve as the host school.
