BOYDS, Md. – The Navy women's rugby team dominated New Haven, 30-0, in the seventh-place match at the 7s Collegiate Rugby Championship on Sunday at the Maryland SoccerPlex in Boyds, Md.
The Mids fell in their first match of the day to Queens, 31-5, to set up a meeting with the Mustangs in the seventh-place contest.
"We had a rough time in our first game against Queens, but we got things sorted out for our match against New Haven," said head coach

Queens benefited off a pair of Mids' turnovers and added two more tries in the fourth and sixth minutes to extend its lead to 17-0.
Senior team captain
Miracle Haynes found a gap in the Royals' defense and offloaded to Olmsted who ran in the try in the seventh minute to end the first half.
Queens controlled the second half as it scored two more tries and made both conversion kicks to finish off the match.
