Tenlea Radack Named Patriot League Women's Rowing Scholar-Athlete of the Year

Radack is the program's first S-A selection since 2021; de Vente joins her on PL All-Academic Team

BETHLEHEM, Pa. - The Patriot League announced its 2025 All-Academic Team on Thursday and the Navy women's rowing team was at the forefront of the release with senior Tenlea Radack earning the title of Patriot League Women's Rowing Scholar-Athlete of the Year and Noelle de Vente joining her on the league's All-Academic team. Radack cements her spot as one of the program's most successful student-athletes as she earned the team honor for the third time in her career and becomes the eighth Midshipman to be selected as the Patriot League Scholar-Athlete of the Year. Navy's two nods on the Patriot League All-Academic Team are second best in the conference and trail only MIT's three honorees.

Selected to the league's All-Academic Team following her sophomore and junior seasons, Radack (Sr., Washington, D.C.) capped her career with a third berth on the exclusive listing. Racing with the Navy's first varsity eight crew over the past three seasons, Radack was in the stroke seat for the Mids at the 2025 Patriot League Championship on May 16. Leading Navy to a gold medal in the V8 classification and an automatic berth to the 2023 NCAA Championship, Radack was honored by the conference's coaches with a spot on that year's All-Patriot League First Team. An honors mathematics major, she was recognized on the 2024 Collegiate Sports Communicators All-District Team and spent the 2024-25 academic year participating in the exclusive USNA Trident Scholar program; this year only 17 Mids were chosen to engage in this independent study program. Radack will graduate on Friday, May 23 ranked third overall in the Naval Academy's Class of 2025 and be commissioned as a Naval Surface Warfare officer.

Noelle de Vente; PL All-Academic
Similar to Radack, de Vente (Sr., Greenville, N.C.) was a staple in Navy's first varsity eight crew for the last three years. At the Patriot League Championship this past Friday, de Vente was rowing from the sixth seat for the Mids. In recognition of her outstanding work with Navy's top boat, the senior has twice earned All-Patriot League Second Team status, first in 2023 and most recently in 2025. Away from the water, de Vente is a high achiever and has been named to the USNA's Supt's List in all eight of her semesters in Annapolis as a mathematics major. For her well-rounded success in all facets of the Naval Academy, she was one of the few members of the Class of 2025 that will commission into Medical Corps. In terms of overall ranking, de Vente will graduate with distinction on Friday and finish her career ranked first in her class in the Military Order of Merit.

Eight of the nine Patriot League women's rowing member institutions were represented on this year's Academic All-Patriot League Team. The Massachusetts Institute of Technology led the way with three student-athletes named to the squad, Boston University and Navy each had two selections, while Bucknell, Colgate, Georgetown, Holy Cross and Lehigh had one honoree apiece.
