ANNAPOLIS, Md. -- The Navy men's basketball team qualified four players for the 2024-25 National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) Honors Court, which was announced today by the organization.
Austin Benigni,
Sam Krist,
Lysander Rehnstrom and
Kam Summers all earned the accolade.
The NABC Honors Court recognizes players who were a junior, senior or graduate student academically during the 2024-25 season with a cumulative grade-point average of 3.2 or higher at the conclusion of the academic year and been a member of the varsity roster.
Recent graduate Rehnstrom appeared on the Honors Court for a second time. The 2024-25 team captain finished his time in Annapolis with a degree in operations research and a 3.73 GPA.
Fellow 2025 graduate Summers recorded a 3.29 GPA as a robotics and control engineering major to qualify for the Honors Court for the first time. Also appearing on the Honors Court for the first time are rising seniors Benigni and Krist. Benigni has posted a 3.37 cumulative GPA as a computer science major and Krist is an ocean engineering major with a 3.39 GPA.
