ANNAPOLIS, Md. – The Navy triathlon team returns to action for the first time in two weeks when it competes at the Duquesne Invitational on Saturday at Beaver Falls, Pa.

The Duquesne Invitational features a sprint triathlon format of a 750m swim, 20km bike and 5km run. Fans can find more information and results on navysports.com.

Navy History at the Duquesne Collegiate Cup
Navy is competing in the Duquesne Collegiate Cup for the third-straight season after finishing sixth last year and fifth in 2023.

The Midshipmen will be familiar with the course, as four returners competed in last year's event.
Natalie Wang led the team with a ninth-place finish in 1:05:17.76.
Dylan Cashin followed in 22nd (1:08:27.28),
MC Kistler finished 55th (1:24:34.81) and
Ella Sims rounded out the group in 59th (1:28:38.57).

Last Time Out: ETSU Buccaneer Collegiate Cup & Bulldog Super Sprint Kickoff
The Mids opened the season with a fourth-place finish out of six teams with 145 team points at the ETSU Buccaneer Collegiate Cup in Johnson City, Tenn. Wang led the way for Navy with a 10th-place finish with a time of 28:39.90.

The Midshipmen capped off the opening weekend with a second-place finish out of five teams at the Bulldog SuperSprint. The race was split between the prelims and finals, the top-12 times advanced to the A final, while the next 12 moved on to the B final.

Navy opened the day strong in prelims as seven of its eight competitors qualified for finals. Wang (26:00),Â

Wang led the Midshipmen for the second-straight event with a sixth-place finish in 25:42. Wilkinson followed in seventh at 25:50, while Cashin rounded out the A final in 12th at 26:58. Miller won the B final (13th overall) with a time of 26:54. Kistler placed ninth (21st overall) in 28:32 and Norton finished in 28:54 for 10th (22nd overall). Berry put forth a gritty performance as she ran the final two miles of the bike portion after a flat tire and placed 12th (24th overall) in 43:49.
