Swimming & Diving Teams to Compete Against NCAA-Power Virginia in Exhibition

ANNAPOLIS, Md. -- The Navy swimming and diving teams will continue preparations for the upcoming season Saturday when the Mids play host to Virginia in an 11 a.m. non-scored exhibition in Lejeune Hall.

The format features the Navy programs dividing into "blue" and "gold" teams to compete against one another, while the Virgina teams will do the same with "orange" and "blue" teams.

Fans wishing to attend who are without USNA-approved vehicle access must park outside of the gates and walk through the gate one visitors center.

Results will be available after the conclusion of the meet on NavySports.com.

The Virginia women's team has won the last five NCAA titles and the men's team has placed among the top-20 teams at the national championship in five of the last six times the meet has been held.  Additionally, 10 current members of the Virginia teams were named to the 2025-26 USA Swimming National Team.

Navy's regular season will start October 11 when the Mids compete against both UMBC and William & Mary in a meet slated to be held at UMBC.
