Inclement weather didn't allow the team to make it to West Point

WEST POINT, N.Y. - The Navy men's gymnastics team had an anti-climatic end to its weekend in New York as inclement weather in the area left the team unable to make it back to West Point to compete in the event finals of the 2026 West Point Open. After finishing third in the team event last evening, the Mids were set to have six gymnasts suit up on Saturday night and compete for individual glory.

Pommel Horse Finalists
Jonah Soltz - fifth seed, 13.45 score
Brian Solomon - seventh seed, 13.3

Vault Finalist
Matthew Petros - second seed, 14.2

Rings Finalists
Aaron Stein - fifth seed, 12.55
Zachary Silao - fifth seed, 12.55

Parallel Bars Finalist
Brian Solomon - sixth seed, 13.15

High Bar Finalist
Boone Washburn - second seed, 13.1

Once returning to Annapolis, the Mids will turn their attention to next Saturday's Navy Open. First touch of the six-team open event is set for 2 p.m. at the Halsey Field House Gymnastics Facility.
