ANNAPOLIS, Md. -- The Navy men's tennis team continues its season Saturday when the Mids (2-2) travel to Binghamton, N.Y., for matches against Niagara (0-0) and the host Binghamton Bearcats (0-0) at the school's Lane - Starke Tennis Center.
Niagara and Binghamton will face each other Friday prior to each playing the Mids on Saturday. Navy's match against the Purple Eagles will start at 10 a.m. with the Mids facing the Bearcats at 2 p.m.

Navy
The Mids opened their 2026 spring campaign by splitting four matches last weekend. Navy first posted a 7-0 win over St. Bonaventure and a 5-2 victory over Saint Francis Saturday in Annapolis. The Mids then fell by scores of 7-0 and 6-1 in a doubleheader against Penn in Philadelphia on Sunday.
Niagara
Niagara posted an overall record of 8-11 last season, which included a 4-4 mark against Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference opponents. The fifth-seeded Purple Eagles advanced to the semifinal round of the 2025 conference tournament.
Saturday's match will be the first between the Mids and the Purple Eagles.
Binghamton
The Bearcats finished the 2024-25 season with an overall record of 13-12 and a Northeast Conference record of 4-3. The No. 4 seed in the conference tournament, Binghamton defeated No. 5 Saint Francis, No. 1 Fairleigh Dickinson and No. 3 Long Island to win the championship and advance to the NCAA Tournament. It was the second-straight title for the Bearcats.
Navy and Binghamton have met on just two prior occasions. The Mids won a 5-2 decision in 2018 and lost a 4-3 match the next season, with both of those matches being played in Annapolis.
