TOWSON, Md. -- A run of 11-straight victories gave the Navy men's swimming and diving team (9-0) a 175.5-119.5 win over Towson (3-2), Saturday at Burdick Pool in Towson. Those 11 races were won by nine different Mids.
"The team did a terrific job with their racing today," said Navy head coach
Bill Roberts. "It has been a really difficult stretch of training and we are pleased with where they are at today coming after a challenging week. We still have a long ways to go and are looking forward to getting right back to work on Monday and preparing for the next meet."

The swimming events began with Navy placing first and second in the 200 medley relay and Towson winning the 1000 freestyle. The Tigers held a 38-35 advantage through those four events.
The Mids answered by winning the next 11 events, which included first, second and third-place finishes in six of those races to break away from the Tigers.
