ANNAPOLIS, Md. -- The depth of the Navy swimming and diving teams was on display again as 14 Mids won at least one individual event during a pair of victories over George Washington, Wednesday evening at Lejeune Hall in Annapolis. Navy (6-0) won the men's meet over George Washington (0-5) by the score of 153-127 and the Mids (5-1) earned the victory over the Revolutionaries (0-5) in the women's meet by a 147-134 count.
George Washington won the men's title at Atlantic 10 Conference Championship for the sixth year in a row last season and the Revolutionaries have placed either first or second (2026) at the women's conference meet in six of the last seven years.
"Today was another terrific opportunity to race and compete," said Navy men's swimming head coach
Bill Roberts. "In the wake of the Star Meet last week along with testing this week, I was impressed with the approach of this team today from beginning to end. Additionally, being back home, it was great to have the entire team competing together again. With all of these factors in place, I believe we did a solid job making strides towards our November invite as well as 2027."
The men's team won 11 events in all, which started with a win in the 200 medley relay.
