ANNAPOLIS, Md. - The Navy men's gymnastics program will conclude its 2026 regular season with a three-team road meet at Springfield College on Saturday afternoon. Currently sitting ninth in the national rankings with a four-score average of 309.35, the Mids (4-3, 2-2 ECAC) will look to solidify their event lineups and build momentum with postseason action at the USAG Collegiate Championship just a week away. The No. 11 Pride (2-5, 1-3 ECAC) will host the Mids as well as the Temple club team in a 1 p.m. competition at Blake Arena on the Springfield College campus. All of the action will be streamed on the Virtius platform.
This will be the fourth time this season that Navy and Springfield will be competing in the same gymnasium as the programs opened their respective 2026 campaigns with a dual meet on January 10 in Annapolis before suiting up in multi-team events the following two weeks; the West Point Open (Jan. 16-17) and the Navy Open (Jan. 24). The Mids out-scored the Pride in all three occasions.

Last Time Out: at William & Mary -- March 7
The Navy gymnastics team got a glimpse of its future on Saturday as seven underclassmen got a chance to perform in a late-season conference matchup at William & Mary. Competitive throughout the meet at Kaplan Arena, the host Tribe (1-6, 1-4 ECAC) were able to edge the Mids (4-3, 2-2 ECAC) late and secure the 310.85-308.60 victory.
Navy received strong individual efforts from throughout its lineup, but battled a bit of inconsistency as William & Mary recorded 23 of 24 scores of 12.1 or better during the meet. Led byÂ
Jonah Soltz'Â first-place results on the pommel horse and vault, four different Mids won events Saturday asÂ
Benjamin Thurlow Lam,Â
Aaron Stein andÂ
Matthew Petros finished first on the floor exercise, rings and parallel bars, respectively.
As a team, Navy scored 52.95 points on the floor exercise, 50.75 on the pommel horse, 52.35 on the rings, 53.05 on the vault, 49.50 on the parallel bars and 50.0 on the high bar. The Mids' rings output was a season-high far surpassing its previous high of 50.85 set on January 24 at the Navy Open.
