ANNAPOLIS, Md. – The Navy women's rugby team (3-1 in 7s) will hit the road for the first time this spring, traveling to compete in the West Chester 7s Tournament on Sunday at the WCU Rugby Pitch in West Chester, Pa. The tournament is set to begin at 9 a.m.

Navy Notes
• Ella Callahan and Cecilia Izquierdo lead the team with four tries apiece.
• Callahan also leads the team in total points (24) and ranks second in conversions (2).
• Hannah Brink leads the team with five conversion kicks, all recorded during Navy's home tournament.
• Ellie Pierson opened the spring season with her first career try against Queens, then added her second against Long Island.
• It marks the second-straight season Navy has opened the 7s campaign with a 3-1 record or better. Last year, the Midshipmen started 4-0, winning the Frostbite 7s Tournament.
 
Scouting Mount St. Mary's
• The Mountaineers finished 5-2-1 in the fall, their first five-win season since 2019.
• Mount St. Mary's will compete in its second 7s event this spring after opening at the Navy 7s last weekend, where it finished sixth.

• Penn State finished the 15s season with a 2-6 record, with wins over Walsh (22-19) and St. Bonaventure (45-14).
