ANNAPOLIS, Md. -- The Navy men's tennis suffered a pair of losses Saturday in Annapolis as the Mids (14-12) lost a 4-2 match to Brown (10-5) and a 4-0 decision to Norfolk State (3-5).

Brown 4, Navy 2
Norfolk State jumped out to a 2-0 lead on wins at Nos. 1 and 2 doubles and No. 2 singles.  Navy battled back to tie the match at 2-2 when Jason Kim won a 6-2, 6-2 match at No. 5 singles and Herrick Legaspi recorded a 6-4, 6-2 victory at the No. 1 flight.

Brown answered with a straight-set win at No. 3 singles and a three-set victory at the No. 4 flight.

Norfolk State 4, Navy 0
The Spartans won matches at Nos. 2 and 3 doubles to take a 1-0 lead.  Norfolk State then won straight set matches at Nos. 4, 5 and 6 singles to secure the overall decision.

Up Next
Navy heads to Southern California for four matches over spring break.  The Mids will play at UC Riverside and at UC San Diego on Wednesday, then play at UC Irvine and against Air Force Friday.  The match against the Falcons will be played in Irvine.
