ANNAPOLIS, Md. – Earning its third-straight trip to the NCAA Tournament, the 12th-seeded Navy women's golf team is set to open NCAA play on Monday at the Stanford Regional in Stanford, Calif.
 
Playing at the par-71, 6,267-yard Stanford Golf Course and hosted by three-time national champion Stanford University, the 12-team regional will compete Monday through Wednesday with tee times beginning at 8 a.m. PT/11 a.m. ET each day.
 
Each of the six NCAA Regionals will be streamed live and on-demand by Babygrande Golf, with all coverage available exclusively on BabygrandeGolf.com. A Round 1 Pass can be purchased for $14.99, while the women's all-access pass is available at $29.99.

Stanford Regional
One of six regional sites, the Stanford Regional will see the following teams, in order of seed with national ranking: No. 1 Stanford, No. 10 Pepperdine, No. 12 Vanderbilt, No. 22 Arizona State, Missouri, Arizona, Cal State Fullerton, Illinois, Oregon State, Cal Poly, South Dakota State and Navy … All six regional sites will have 12 teams and six individuals … The top five teams (30 teams total) and the low individual not on an advancing team (six individuals total) from each regional site will advance to play in the national championships to be played May 22-27 at Omni La Costa Resort in Carlsbad, Calif. … Competing as individuals at the regional are Emma Bunch of New Mexico State, Boise State's Leia Chung, Kelsey Kim of Santa Clara, California's Adora Liu, Eva Pett of San Francisco and Long Beach State's Madison Le.
 
The Course
The Stanford Regional will take place at the Stanford Golf Course in the foothills above the university's campus … Designed by famed architects George C. Thomas and Billy Bell Jr., it underwent a renovation by John Harbottle in 2008 while 2018 saw all bunkers rebuilt and several holes modified … Stanford's course has hosted many intercollegiate and non-collegiate events, including U.S. Open Qualifying, Women's NCAA Championships, NCAA Regionals, Pac-12 Championships and the USGA Junior Amateur Qualifying.
 
Scouting the Mids
Junior Emma Tang paces the Mids with a 75.93 scoring average, also leading the team with four top-10 finishes … Tang and sophomore Vivian Cressman have the team lead with two rounds at par or below each … Tang's 71 in the Patriot League Championship's second round and sophomore Megan Kirkpatrick's 71 in the first round of the Kingsmill Intercollegiate are Navy season bests for an individual round … Navy's best team round of the year came in the second round of the Terps Invitational, with the Mids shooting a 5-over par 293.
 
Last Time Out
Led by junior Emma Tang earning individual medalist honors with a 4-over par 220, Navy shot a 32-over par 896 at the U.S. Naval Academy Golf Club three weeks ago, taking home the program's third-straight and fourth-overall Patriot League Championship … Beating out runner-up Bucknell by 11 strokes, the Mids became the second team in Patriot League women's golf history to three-peat … Joining Tang on the All-Championship Team were sophomore Vivian Cressman, who finished tied for runner-up at 7-over par 223, and senior captain Hallie Brisco, who carded a 14-over par 230 to place sixth.
 
Tang Named PL Golfer of the Year, Five Selected All-League
Tang was named the Patriot League Women's Golfer of the Year for the second-straight season and was one of five Mids to earn 2026 All-Patriot League selections, the league office announced April 22 … Tang, fellow junior Keira Howard and sophomore Vivian Cressman all garnered a spot on the All-Patriot League First Team, while sophomore Megan Kirkpatrick and freshman Angelina Kim both nabbed second-team all-league distinction … Howard and Cressman were also named to the Academic All-Patriot League Team on May 1.
 
Navy's NCAA Regional History
Navy had an 18th-place finish during its first appearance at the NCAA Regionals in 2021, as the Mids posted a score of 73-over par 925 (313-305-307) at the Stanford Regional, while Angelina Chan led Navy with a 10-over par 223 to tie for 52nd … 2024 saw Navy place 10th for its best finish at NCAAs in program history, shooting a 46-over par 910 at Wake Forest's Bermuda Run Regional, with Emma Tang being the top Navy golfer at 5-over par 221 (T-32nd) … Last year's trip to the NCAA Gold Canyon Regional at Arizona State featured another strong Navy performance, as Tang tied for 30th to be the top Navy golfer at 9-over par 225 while the Mids placed 11th with a 49-over par 913 team score, using a hot start to sit sixth after the first day before sliding down the leaderboard.
