Navy Basketball Schedules Announced

Both squads are coming off of clinching Patriot League regular season titles

ANNAPOLIS, Md. –– The 2026-27 schedules for the Navy men's and women's basketball teams were announced today with a minimum of 30 days of basketball slated to be played in Alumni Hall.  

Season tickets are now available for purchase through the Navy Ticket Office by either calling 1-800-US4-NAVY, clicking the TICKETS tab in the masthead of NavySports.com or clicking this link.

Fans have options to purchase season tickets for just men's games, only women's games or for every home basketball game, with each offering guaranteeing purchasers their reserved seat for the full season.  Season ticket options include the Feb. 20 Army-Navy Star Game doubleheader in Annapolis.  

Season ticket packages, which include access to parking on The Yard on game day, are priced as follows:
** Combined Men's and Women's (includes Veterans Classic) –– $250 / ticket
** Combined Men's and Women's (does not include Veterans Classic) –– $225 / ticket
** Men's Games Only (includes Veterans Classic) –– $160 / ticket
** Men's Games Only (does not include Veterans Classic) –– $135 / ticket
** Women's Games Only –– $135 / ticket
 
Tickets for the 13th edition of the men's Veterans Classic remain on sale through the Navy Ticket Office by clicking this link.  Lower level reserved seats are $40 / ticket and upper level general admission seats are $25 / ticket.  This year's Nov. 11 doubleheader features USF vs. Saint Joseph's and Penn vs. Navy.  

Floor seats will be $600 each and include concierge service for all home games.  The number of floor seats available for purchase depends on your giving level to the Blue-N*-Gold and Athletic Excellence.  Donors of $2,500-$9,999 can purchase up to 4 floor seats, donors of $10,000-$24,499 can purchase 6 floor seats and donors of $25,000 and up can purchase up to 8 floor seats. The Tip-Off Club will be returning for the 2026-27 season. More information will be released in the fall ahead of the season.

Single game tickets for the Navy basketball season will go on sale September 21.  

The television schedule for both teams will be announced later this fall.

Women's Schedule
Continuing its work on rebuilding the program to championship glory, Navy returns four of five starters from a 2025-26 team that won the Patriot League regular season title with a program-best 16-2 mark in conference play. Led by All-American and Patriot League Player of the Year senior guard Zanai Barnett-Gay, the Mids return 83 percent of their scoring and 78 percent of all minutes played to a team that went 22-9 and concluded its season with action in the WBIT. Other All-Patriot League award winners include the 2025-26 Rookie of the Year Zoe Mesuch and All-PL Third Team honoree Julianna Almeida.

The Mids' 2026-27 campaign begins with a Nov. 2 game at Mount St. Mary's with two more road contests following in quick succession; at Temple on Nov. 7 and James Madison on Nov. 11. Navy welcomes service academy rival Air Force for its home opener on Nov. 14. That game versus the Falcons is the first of six to be played at Alumni Hall during the non-conference portion of the schedule.

Additional dates of note in the non-conference slate include two games in the Bahamas on Nov. 23 and Nov. 25, as well as a pair of matchups at ACC powers Virginia and N.C. State on Dec. 13 and Dec. 20, respectively.

Navy gets into the Patriot League portion of its schedule with road games at Lafayette on Dec. 30 and Bucknell on Jan. 2. The first home game for the Mids is a Wednesday evening matchup versus the Crusaders of Holy Cross on Jan. 6. Other highlights of Navy's conference slate include the home-and-home series of contests with Army at West Point on Jan. 23 and in Annapolis on Feb. 20 and the regular season finale on Feb. 26.

The 2026-27 Patriot League Tournament kicks off for the Mids with the first round on March 1. The rest of the tournament is as follows ... March 3, quarterfinals; March 6, semifinals; and March 9, final.  Each game during the tournament will be played at the home of the higher-seeded team playing in the game.

Men's Schedule
Navy finished the 2025-26 season with an overall record of 26-8, tied the Patriot League record for the most league wins in a regular season with a first-place mark of 17-1 and received a bid to the NIT to make the program's first appearance in a national postseason tournament since 1998.  The Mids return key players from last year's team in Cam Cole (34 games, 6.1 ppg, 55 assists), Jinwoo Kim (34 games, 33 starts, 9,8 ppg, 3.1 rpg) and Jordan Pennick (34 games, 20 starts, 7.2 ppg, 2.1 rpg).

The season begins with a Nov. 2 game at George Washington followed by the Nov. 5 home opener against Delaware State.

The team's road game slate is highlighted by a Nov. 18 game at Georgetown and Dec. 6 game at Air Force.

Navy opens its Patriot League schedule with home games against Lafayette on Dec. 30 and Bucknell on Jan. 2.  The Mids will play at Army on Jan. 23 and play host to the annual Star Game on Feb. 20.

The dates for the Patriot League Tournament are March 2, first round; March 4, quarterfinals; March 7, semifinals; and March 10, final.  Each game during the tournament will be played at the home of the higher-seeded team playing in the game.
