Albright Competes At U.S. Nationals

ANNAPOLIS, Md.-Navy sophomore Matt Albright finished 21st out of 69 shooters in the three-position smallbore at the recent U.S. National Championship in Atlanta. His score ranked fifth among 43 junior competitors. In prone smallbore, Albright finished 31st out of 69.

"The competition was tough, all the top shooters in the United States were there," said Navy head coach Bill Kelley. "This was Matt's first experience at the USA Nationals and he handled the pressure very well. The wind conditions were difficult every day, but he built upon each day's experience and improved throughout the competition. Overall it was a remarkable performance."
